This was a set up taken earlier this year in Costa Rica. Although the perch is large for the Tanager I still like the image. Any feedback is welcome and appreciated.

Stunning bird and a lovely turn of the head. The only crit from me is probably a bit unfair as there was not much you could have done about it, but the foot being covered is a real shame

This is lovely Jim. You certainly got some great shots from this trip to CR.
I actually love the perch and the curlicue branch/stem by the feet.
Great pose and BG. Excellent IQ as well.
I see a magenta cast in the blacks-easy fix.

Hi Jim , another nice colorful bird from CR .
Nice and clean image design with a pleasing BKG. Nice detail and colors and tones.IQ is looking good.
Agree about the magentas creeping in .
If this was mine , i would add a Multiply layer to the HL selectively to give the HL a bit more depth and Oooomph .

Stunning Tanager! Well posed on a sweet perch. Man if all you got was this one image, I think the trip would have been totally worth it. The repost took "class" and made it "classier".

Hi Jim, this guy certainly has a variety of colours, and I like the inquisitive pose. Yes, the circular stem on the perch does take this up a few notches.

What a beauty. I really find the unusual perch interesting here, love the head turn and the eye contact. Nice work.

What a beautiful and colorful bird. Great frame with nice techs. The BG really looks nice with the birds colors and the feather detail is perfect. Repost fixed the color cast issue. Well done Jim
