This particular bird was photographed during fall migration 2012 in Northern Minnesota. I found over 30 buff breasted sandpipers during this year's (2014) migratory push of this species through my area, and non of them were adults. Canon 7d, Sigma50/500os, iso800, f8, 1/500, small crop, NR to the bg and fg, USM to the subject and the in focus grassy areas. In RAW conversion, I did cool off the white balance a little. The light was very late evening light. The two flowers are only dandelions, but I left them in because I thought they added some visual pop in an otherwise visually simple scene. Comments and critiques welcome.
Regards,
Shawn Zierman.

. Excellent low angle, sweet light, and I like the BG too. I do see a bit of a magenta cast to the image so perhaps adding a touch of greens to the colour balance would help without affecting the sweetness of the light's warmth.
