    Just loved the expression here!
Probably my last post as I prepare to head to the Maasai Mara this weekend to host a Great Migration photo safari. See you all on the flipside!

Hi Morkel - Nice detail and textures. The square comp works here. Pleasing tones too. I also like the sense of movement from the ear. Safari njema!

Awesome detail and texture on the skin, and great processing. What a bizarre pose / ear expression on the rhino - I have never seen anything like that before.

Hi Morkel, a Rhino with 'shriek' ears..! Love the skin and its textures. Are their many different species in Africa? I ask because this looks different to the Rhino I posted a couple of days ago.

    regards

I love the experience & character reflected on his/her face, Morkel. It looks like its face had just come out of a container with baking flour! Interesting that 1/500s was not enough to completely freeze the ears. Nice one - and I'm awefully yealous on your Masai Mara trip, bring back some more great pics!

Cool expression as you say Morkel, love the colour palette on this. Movement in the ear is a nice addition.

Hi Morkel fully understand your feelings about the expression on this one. The moving ear is a very nice little bonus . Color and tones are looking quite right and i am fine with the textures on one hand , on the other i would like to see a bit less of them . So 50/50 on them .

Nice tight comp and pleasing BKG.

Have fun in the Mara , TFS Andreas

    Hi Morkel

Looks like his is sucking on a sour-ball, even makes the ear twitch!
    Love it!

Think it is a tad over-sharpened on the face and horn...

    Andre.
