I'm wondering if I should soften the texture.

This is beautiful. I like the muted colors and overall softness. The background is very pleasing visually, and it's effective in guiding the eye through the image. I don't know about softening the texture; I certainly don't feel it's excessive. You did a fabulous job on this.

Very pretty Anita. I like the flower tilting in the frame, and the lovely palette. I would be inclined to to brighten the tip of the flower, or remove some of the texture there as it looks too gray to me. Nice high key image.

Hi, Anita, I like this a lot. I like the leaves in the upper right corner that mirror the shapes of the flower petals. I think I would darken just a bit the white spot in the background about in the middle left behind one of the flower petals. Very nice work

I'm late here -- do like the RP! Evokes a Lensbaby with the wide-angle FG. The texture is perfect for me!

My first impression of this image was, I'd like to see a bit more contrast (if that's the right word) between the white of the flower and the white background.
    Hope it makes sense.
As always a lovely flower...well done

Paul: here is a repost with more contrast.
