Excellent capture, Enrique. Nice pose and beautiful light and colors. I like as is but taking off from the top might work.

Nice pic, Enrique! Comp-wise I believe you've nailed it so I wouldn't fiddle with it.

I like the overall shot. The pose with the seed is nice and the colors and detail look great. I never constrain compositions to any format except to what looks best to you and what you like to see included in your image, at least for web presentation. The only time I even look at the size of my crop is for printing. The comp looks good to me.

Hi Enrique. Wonderful capture; love the contrasting colours, soft natural background and the action. I agree with David and Tobie that the crop proportions look fine. You could take a sliver off the bottom but it makes little difference in my opinion. Well done, Ian.

Beautiful exposure, color and detail. The seed in the mouth is a bonus. Nice image Enrique, thank you for sharing.

Nice one, Enrique. Great pose and colors. Tough to know how to improve on the comp. Looks pretty good to me. Possibly a slivver off top and bottom, or not.

I enjoy how different of an image this is for this species....Fantastic light quality, and all other techs (including composition) look good to my eyes as well.

Great light and love the behavior portrayed. Perfect BG that compliments the bird.
I think your comp is fine.
The thing that I noticed was an odd colored sharpening halo that is green along the bottom of the bird and red-purple along the top of the bird. With your PP skills I am sure you can fix that easily.
I might consider cloning out the stuff in the RLC that doesn't add much and it may visually open up the image. A 5% crop off the bottom with the same amount added to the top would also look nice,
    Gail
