Very nice image. I like the bird's pose and the great sharpness. My only problem is the purple flower, It kinds of drag the eyes to it rather than the bird. If it was mines I would try and clone it out to see how it looks with out it?

Hi William. I was thinking of a crop like this so you have a little more breathing room.

Nice looking shot of this colorful little bird. Techs and details look good. I like Jim's comp best, and at that point I would be tempted to smooth out the BG on the right. Well done

William it's interesting seeing different peoples composition ,I like Jims but would like a little more to the right, that said it's a very nice image that I would be very happy with.
    Cheers Keith.

Hi William, Lots of good feedback here on the crop/composition. I rather like the OP and would work on the OOF vegetation on the RHS; perhaps removing the stuff closest to the bird and toning down the flower in the corner. Regards, Ian

Very nice William, I like the perch and pose. Good details too. I think I like Jim's comp best.

    Cheers, Tom

It's a lovely shot I like landscape and portrait versions. I have been playing with the image and I would suggest a little more sharpening on the bird.
