These are super little ducks and when they are intent on feeding they don't know you are there. This image was created today at the Sackville Waterfowl Park. This male Green-winged Teal was feeding with its mate very close into shore and I could not get any lower than this. The sun was setting and the light was yellowish. This is obviously a portrait of the head of the bird as there is almost no other part in focus, save the upper breast. The white line on the left is blown.

Unusual pose John !!! Don't mind the body oof as long as the eye is sharp. Sure with the bill was turned a bit more toward you.
The exposure is right at the edge. Might have gone 1/3 under to protect the whites and tried having a better sun angle. The sun seems to be coming form the left !!! Might have giving a little more room for the duck !!!
