Bald Eagle with salmon

This Bald Eagle was taken 30 August 2014 hand held from a small boat in the remote Great Bear Rainforest in British Columbia, Canada.

Canon EOS 5D Mark III with a Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS USM at 400 mm.

1/1600 sec at f/6.3 and ISO 1250. Exposure Bias -1/3 EV.

Cropped to 80% (5186 x 3421 pixels) only to get the Eagle look bigger in the picture.

Great shot. Love the eye contact and pose. The top of the head looks a bit overexposed. Maybe if there is enough information left you can tone it down a bit.
