I really like the light and the space in this image.
The strip of green at the top is really nice and the reflection is nice as well.
I am on the fence about the OOF sandpipers' position- wish it wasn't his rear pointing toward us.

Love the softness and "blurred mirror effect" in the water.
    So peaceful !

Hi Geoffrey. I really like the mood of this image! Has a real peace about it. IMO the OOF birds dont add anything however and I would find the image more appealing without them. TFS

Nice image, although having eye contact would be better.

There's a beautiful tranquility to this image. The use of space around the subject has added a lot to that. I am a big fan of not framing-tightly-to-death

A lovely, peaceful mood to this. Nice to try something a little different. A slight shift of the camera to the left would have put the subject bird slightly more off-center, and the LH oof bird more into the frame; and I'll agree with Gail about the central oof bird's position. But a lovely image as posted.

Love the light airy feel to this...great light quality....Sharpness and exposure look spot on. Composition feels a little awkward on the left hand side...mostly because the one bird is so close to the edge of the frame...if you could trade a little space from the right and add it to the left side...I think this high quality shorebird image would be even better. If you don't have the space on the left...I could see another version of the image with the left hand edge bird cropped out...maybe even a square presentation like that...

I love all the space, the high key whites, and soft pastel colors. Very nice.
