    Default Burrowing owl featured article

This is another frame from my trip to SoCal. This cute juvenile burrowing was a bit curious of Dave Salem's truck which we used as a blind.

My owl series was also featured on 500px.com, you can read the full article here. I hope you like this frame

Great pose with the beak open. EXP and detail are very good. The rock in the BG is a bit distracting IMO but it's a great shot.

    Cheers, Tom

Cool bird with its beak open wide!
Nice separation between the owl and rock.

Great capture Arash. I am OK with the rock in the background showing us something of the environment. The aperture you have used has isolated the bird sufficiently well from the background to concentrate one's attention on the dramatic action taking place 'in your face' as they say. Regards, Ian

Great looking screaming flight pose Arash. All else looks awesome and I personally dont mind the rock in the BG. It shows where he's coming from. Nice frame.
