    Here's another image from the Barnegat Inlet.

    Canon 1dmkIII 500mm f4 2x, Tripod, Manual exposure 1/400 @ f10 Iso 400, Auto focus.

    Hi Jim,

    This is a very interesting image. I think a lower angle was need it. However, looks like a ruff ground so I understand. The composition works for me but I also would like to see the image a little lighter.

    It is a nice composition but the image seems to be a bit dark on my monitor too.

    I like the composition and the overall setting. I know Barnegat so I know that you did well getting the angle you got. The same with me in that it looks dark on my monitor.

    Nice find, they are among my favorite birds. It looks a bit dark, maybe some S/H in order not to overexpose the whites.
