Default Rufous Motmot in Costa Rica

This is a relatively common bird in CR but not easy to be found in the open. They donīt come to feeders so just when found outside the forest is when one gets a better chance as it is very dark inside the forest.

Hi Juan , stunning IQ for the techs given . Love the colors and the image design .I might remove the leave above the head , if this fits your ethics.

    Love it . TFS Andreas

Beautiful image Juan, love the colours and detail. Well done getting it out in the open!
It may be worth doing a version where you clone out the leaf above the bird (given you don't mind doing this) as it does not add anything to the image IMO. TFS.

Nice clean image ant ISO 1600. Excellent IQ and great light on the head and breast area, Juan.

I like the serrated beak, HA, sharpness and rain forest feel. I have yet to see this Motmot. Well done Juan.
