    I captured this image of a Purple Gallinule last summer at Circle B Bar Reserve in Polk County, Florida. Comments and critique are welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

    Great subject, pose, colors, details and comp. Wish you had more light on the bird. Maybe tone down the highlights on the perch.

    Looks like great sharpness on the bird and an interesting perch -- good idea about toning down the highlights (or Exposure, if that's necessary -- they often need to be balanced).

    Nice colorful bird with good detail and sharpness. Agree about reducing overall exposure by 1/3 plus taming the HL .

    Lovely capture, great colors and composition. I agree with toning down the exposure and highlights.

    Joseph, Superb image of beautiful hen in habitat.Beautiful colors and details. Very nice composition.
    We have similar hen but it has full red from beak to crown.
