    I captured this image in April 2012 at Circle B Bar Reserve in Polk County, Florida. I worked up the image from the original today using improved processing skills learned since I shot the image. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

    They are not as colorful now. Nice in habitat shot. PP looks good.

    A nice catch of a difficult, dark subject in a lovely setting. I long to see a little more contrast in the darks, and the lightest tones a little darker. The information is there in the raw file. And a little warming would remove the blue cast on the bird.

    Dianne I followed your suggestion and warmed the image, thank you for suggesting. I shall also work on the dark tones as you suggested.
