I photographed this surfer from the beach in Tel Aviv in February. This image is a composite of three separate images that I combined to depict the sequence of his efforts. I used the normal blending mode, and masked the overlapping aspects of the images. I had hoped to include the next image in the sequence, in which he fell into the water, but couldn't quite manage it! Comments welcome.

Nice idea, well executed! Probably wasn't easy to combine them.

I like sequences like this a lot. Great job with what I imagine wasn't any easy task combining the images. Nicely composed. It would've been fun to have seen the fourth shot in the sequence, but it's very good without it.

Hi, Wendy, I would like this better with the last shot of him falling. There seems to be some chromatic aberration especially in the middle shot and around the surfboard of the right surfer that I would remove.

Very nice! This image brings a huge smile to my face. I love the sequence. It gives me some ideas for photos I've taken of my son skateboarding, but the idea of compositing 3 images sounds too difficult for me. You did a lovely job.

Good job of combining the shots Wendy. The arm on the left I would mask back in. I like the fg which has more horizontal elements compared to the rest of the shot which has more verticals.

Thanks, all, for your helpful input. I'll get to work on incorporating all of your excellent suggestions in a reworking of the image.
