    Default A normal Cheetah

Early sunrise driving along the road I was "patrolling" every morning, on the look out for the Cheetahs. 4 of them. I was a few times lucky to run into them.

I did the usual in LR, some little tweaks here and there in CC just levels, Midtones and that was it.

Hi Anette , very nice colors , love the Etosha colors , guess it was taken there .
Nice tones and gorgeous light. Image arrangement works good with the Cheetah sticking his head out of the high grass.

    Nicely done.TFS Andreas

    Hi Andreas, Andre and Neil,

thanks so much for your comments and time.
Neil I have it in my eye and was a bit torn shall I or not. I am waiting what others maybe have to add to this.
Personally I would remove it or crop it out!

Have a great day guys and thanks again

    Ciao Anette

    Hello dearest Anette!

Love this, hmm... it also gives me good reason to consider buying a 200mm lens... The light is stunning and I do like the framing, also thinking it would work as a pano. So much you can do with this image, I am even thinking of a B/W conversion! Sharp where needs be and the colours are fabulous, love the gold and red, the atmosphere, the anticipation of a cheetah hunt - beautiful!

    Warmest regards,

    Your Polar Bear Images Fan,
    Gabriela Plesea

Hi Anette -Gorgeous light and morning colors. I also like how the head pops up from the tall grass and the placement in frame. Well done! I'm sure you also realize that this would work well as a pano with a crop from the top as an alternative.

    TFS,
    Rachel

This is what I call a perfect shot, Anette! The soft light and grass colors perfectly complement the cheetah's colors. I would not have noticed the in-focus branch if no-one had mentioned it. Nice one, well done!
