    Default Lakeland Florida Photography Guides

Does anyone know a good photography guide and the Lakeland, FL area for a day of photography? I would like to include the Circle C Bar Reserve. I Cape Coral. I will have my wife with me.

    Thanks,
    Randy

I've only ever been once to Lakeland, and it was quite productive at Lake Morton (this was in February). Tame Ring-necked Ducks galore, coots, ruddy ducks further out in the water, Wood Storks early in the morning feeding along the shore, an ultra cooperative Great Egret in breeding plumage taking bread from a local's hand. Other herons too.

Circle B Bar Reserve would probably be the best place for you to photograph and it all can't be done in one day. There is quite a bit of info on line including a map. You may wish to join the Circle B Bar Reserve Facebook page where you'll find many people and what they are seeing and photographing every day. The lake Dan mentions is fun too depending on the time of year. What time of year will you be there?
