    Alan this is a stunning looking bird, super colours and a nice pose, afraid I can't find any nits to pick.

    This can't be a real bird!! But I hear it is....

    What would you think about darkening the sky (or water?) above the head, to get a little more definition? I also lightened the blues and cyans a little at the base of the bird.

    The image doesn't have a tagged profile -- some browsers won't display the colors correctly on some monitors.

    Wonderful bird, well captured, excellent colors.

    My only thought when looking at the post was that his head blended in with the blue background a bit, and Diane has addressed that well.

    I am afraid I really need to add Barrow to my bucket list!

    Great bird, colors, SH, and image design. I wish that ducks never got those specular highlights on their wet breasts....
