    This is a real stunner. The BG and perch complement the snipe so well! The pose is unique which is fun and I'm glad the beak has cleared the perch.

    I like everything about this image; lichen covered perch, nice smooth background and nice details in the bird.

    Stunning shot, Keith. Bird, perch, bg, pose, comp -- its all there, with great techs to boot. I don't know if I'm seeing a slight blue cast to this, or possibly just the bird's breast reflecting the blue of the lichen.

    Pretty neat perch for this fella, and that is a beautiful BG to set it off against. Love the crouching pose. I do see a very slight green / cyan cast (but nothing major) so perhaps adding a touch of reds would be good. Too bad about the larger oof part of the perch, but overall this is really a super cool photo of the snipe!
