These birds move quickly as the run along searching for food. I was lucky to get this one sharp at this shutter speed as he ran by me.

Typical pose of a Spotty. Nice all around image, Grace.

Grace your bird looks excellent you really have caught the softness of the feathers and a nice walking pose,if I have a tiny nit perhaps a little more to the right of the bird would be good but that is being picky.

Spectacular image with beautiful color pallet. Nicely balanced frame with bird, objects and OOF weeds?
Love the pose with slightly raised foot with sand particles. Beautiful HA and nice composition.

    Regards,
    Satish.

Super exposure and details here, Grace. The bird looks perfect and although there's quite a bit of beach debris, the bird stands out extremely wells and I don't find it distracting at all. It actually adds to the image.

Yep, as Karl says this is a typical Spotted Sandpiper pose. Well done with the exposure ans sharpness. Nice looking beach sand. I like the mussels but could do without the other debris...but they are soft enough to not spoil the image. Well done!
