    Without the blue at the top I would have been tempted to make a pano out of this, but that sky adds so much!

    The slightly open eye (with a catchlight none-the-less), is icing on the cake.

    The thumbnail doesn't do this image justice.
    The sweet, sleepy pose with that awesome light makes this a special image.
    i like the way you cropped this to include that great blue sky or ocean color.

    This is a real winner for me, love the light and the lovely relaxed pose of the bird, that catch light in the sleepy eye is something else.

    Great shot ,but I feel too much space at the top.I know you wanted the sky in !! I still feel a slice off the tp , going more for a pano would improve a lovely image.
