    Default Kirtland's Warbler


    1DM2n, 600 + 1.4xTC... Full Frame

    I had the great thrill of finding this guy while at Pelee recently. All morning long, he was singing his heart out in the middle of a thicket, where many dozens of birders and photographers never even saw him! In the afternoon however, he came out and put on a show!

    PDG = pretty damend good. I saw a female at Pelee once but alas, no pix. A great find and an excellent image. Perfect head angle is ESP pleasing. Like the yellows and the greens in the BKGR but could do without the branch in the back...

    Great find and pose. Adding to Artie's comments, I would decrease the contrast a bit to see more details in the blacks.

    Brandon, great catch! I will have take it the way it is! Have been in PP this year expecting at lease to the this species but no luck! Congratulation for this one!

    Very, very nice man. Great find down there. A species I have yet to see.
