Hi all, another King Penguin just emerged from the ocean trying do dry himself up by just twisting and shaking his whole body and flippers.
This one looks rather skinny , think it is one of the adults who had raised a chick .Image taken on the beach of Salisbury Plain on South Georgia Island , one of the largest King Penguin colonies on South Georgia.

Love the comical pose. May take just a sliver off of of the bottom.

Nice one Andreas. I agree with Marina that a little off the bottom would be good. But this is really nice: great subject, pose, sharpness, and background. Please show us more.

Andreas, a neat bird in a neat pose! If you aren't opposed to it, I might consider cleaning up the foreground just a bit with a clone tool. Otherwise, love it!

Nice twist, and all the droplets complete the story. Good suggestion by Marina.

Andreas nearly missed this one, it's been well covered above, agree it's a great looking image taken in what looks to be pretty trying conditions.
