Image was created in the month of Aug, 2014. Basic editing, removed sticks coming out of heap and one across the leg, canvas in front of hen extended for composition.
Toned down the greens in the BG and NR applied. Agree feet should have seen fully on the heap.

    ISO :400, 1/1000,@5.6.Manual. 550D,100-400.

Thanks for viewing ,appreciation, comments and critiques.
    Kind Regards.

    Hi Satish

This is a very nice image. You have done well here getting good detail in both the black and white feathers. The colours of the bird go very well with the BG colour. I see a couple of small grey marks on the image. One in front of the birds head and another on the LHS, easily removed though. Overall a very pleasing image. Well done

Beautiful bird and image, Satish. I agree with William's comments and might suggest toning down the lighter twigs or reeds. You've shown us most of the features in great detail. I don't mind feet not showing.

Agree with you about the feet which would be good to see on a water bird like this there worth looking at, But hey! Satish that's how it goes, the bird itself looks excellent with lots of sharp detail, I would be very pleased with this.

    Hi Satish ,
very nice diagonal line gives a sense of dynamic . Love the colors and the control of whites and blacks , well done. Agree about the feet , but hey a minor thing. Only thing i would do is blur the FG slightly , too much of detail for me.

What a beautiful shot! The lovely green BG makes the subject stands out! Your exposure is perfect and the low POV is excellent.
