    Default Two Terns

A juvenile elegant tern warns off another juvenile from atop a rocky perch. I was stoked to get both birds in the same plane of focus. Slightly off angled light made the exposure tricky but added some nice depth to the picture.

I removed a third tern from the bottom of the rock that was looking away.

I like the story here with the one tern proclaiming ownership of the big rock to the incoming tern. Nice comp, clarity and light.

Agreed - very nice story and well captured. I'm a heretic when it comes to off angle light so I like the effect you have here.

If I was to change anything, I might crop to halve the amount of blue water between the bottom and the rock - but that is just my taste.

Excellent image.Nice to see that both of them are sharp. Very nice poses, one with open bill and other with nice landing gears.
I like the composition with rocks having beautiful texture.

One heck of a capture Aidan. The interaction between the two birds makes it for me. Good timing with the guy on the left too.

I like the 2 sharp birds in the frame but am even more impressed with your PP removing an entire bird from the image. If you hadn't told us I would never have known.
Like your low POV and the nice blues.

Great interaction of the two Terns. Love the composition with the rocky perch.
