Gabriela, just love the soft light and glint in the eye - plus of course the moment!
The lion coats could use a bit of warmth for my taste, and I'm wondering whether you have the whole paw on the right to include (but guessing it's full frame)?
Nice result with the new toy!

Thanks Gabriela, I love it! Great moment captured and he's sort of looking at you to say I hope you're getting this. Good suggestions by Morkel. I know you didn't spend much time processing but less is more!

    Rachel

Hi Gabriela, Morkel summed it up for me. Very affectionate, great moment. You can apply a warming photo filter to warm up the image. More space on the right would be great. Loi

Such a nice moment captured here, Gabriela! I can hear him/her saying "Now watch this!" just before pulling the ear!

Of course you can add a warming filter but there's something very appealing to the colors as-is. Not sure I would have changed it but I know there's a RP on its way - looking forward to it!

    Have a great day

Thank you Morkel, Rachel, Loi, Don, Tobie, thank you Anette!

Morkel, this is full frame There was a tiny bit on the RHS but I chose to crop some away because I felt it made sense, I gather if I showed you the original you would agree with me. Half a paw inside the frame looked slightly better than three quarters of a paw (which would really make you want more and you'd pay too much attention to that side of the frame which is undesirable). In doing so I got closer to the lions since I wanted this intimate look to the whole image. Cropping can do so much for an image, I might pay less attention to other things but to me framing is so important, it helps me convey the story I have in mind. The new toy can take high ISO, I am happy with it so far and still experimenting, will share some images taken at max ISO in the near future to see what you think. Thank you Morkel, really appreciate you taking the time to comment!

Loi and Anette - thank you so much, I thought about the filter but I will try a few more things...Will do an RP soon and recover some of the warmth, I might have desaturated some colours during PP work and will try put those colours back.

Will post more images soon, Don - really appreciate your time to view and comment.

Hope you all have a happy Friday,
    Gabriela Plesea

Some small changes and perhaps a tad warmer, I don't really trust my eyes after 10 pm but here it is...

I love the attention you've captured on this sub adult whilst he chomps down on his siblings ear!
Just a wonderful playful moment well captured Gabriela, like the warmer RP too.

Hi Gabriela very nice all around , no points for a ever so small crit , ok i did not look that long .
The tightness and look makes this for me, very intimate.

    Very well done.
