    I like this image. The horizontals go well with the ship and the sun is well placed. Too bad you can't post any larger. Can you tell us what you did in your post processing?

    Hi Jackie

    I used photoshop, but other than the processing I do for my bird photography, I dont use photoshop very much. I was experimenting with filters and different functions with photoshop until i liked what I saw in front of me, so I cant really say what I did to the image exactly . Sorry for that

    Strong composition, the colors are natural and not over saturated. I've witnessed many a sunrise with similar tones on the East Coast. Only wish would be for more sharpness on the ship, it appears that maybe Noise reduction and flat contrast softened it's appearance? TFS!

    I think that everything but the sun could do bit brighter or at least the ship could use a boost in contrast to give it some more pop. Yes to a loverly composition.
