This Pied Bushchat gave a very funny pose, while I was photographing other bird sitting next to him on a nearby close perch, so I did not miss the opportunity.
This behavior was observed 5-6 times within last 15 days.
Image was created yesterday in the very late morning light. Basic editing, lighten the iris and darken the pupil. cropped for composition and sharpened.

    ISO 400, 1/800,@ 5.6.Manual, spot metering. 550D,100-400.

Thanks for viewing ,appreciation, comments and critiques.
    Kind Regards.

    Hi Satish,
very cool pose of the bird.I like the image design and the very pleasing two color BKG.Nice details and tones.Without knowing the bird i would ask about the red/magenta in the feathers ? And there is red/magenta in the perch too ? So i do get the idea there is a tiny bit of both colors too much in the image , i could be well wrong.

I would back off on sharpening if this was mine .

Still a very cool image, TFS Andreas

Super cool pose! The perch spits the BG nicely. I find it a bit oversharpened though. Nice work.

Very interesting pose, Satish, nicely captured. Good detail. I also wondered about the magenta, but the whites look balanced.

Lovely unique pose and you nailed the exposure on the blacks

Lots of nice details and BG in two tones adds interest

Agree about the magenta cast but that is an easy fix. I love the pose and it made me smile. What a cutie-pie!

Thank you all for the feed back and comments. Points noted. Here is the RP with magenta cast removed and less sharpened.

RP looks great. I also like the two colour background - very effectively used. Nice to capture the unusual behaviour - was he sun-bathing like this or was it just an instantaneous movement?

I am not sure about instantaneous movement, but I have seen it doing like this on the ground also, so it is most probably sunbathing.

Missed this one earlier. Great action shot. Looks like sunbathing to me.
