I'll stay put in the "Eager to Learn" forum until I get my bearings. I'm relatively new to DSLR photography, acquired a Canon 50D, 70-200 2.8L IS USM II (also the 1.4X and 2X extenders) in early 2012 and have been putting it to good (IMO) use ever since. Shot a lot of soccer games and other action related activities for the kids. I have in-laws that enjoyed birding and went on a few outings and got hooked. I like the technical challenge and am slowly learning about the more artistic elements, while trying to make the technical shooting second nature. Began reading Artie Morris's blog posts and eventually ended up here. After browsing for a few days, decided to join.
Thanks for the feedback received so far on the few images I've posted.
