It always amazes me how much melody can come out of a bill that is barely open. From this past June.

Hi Alan, a very colourful perch, not to mention the striking yellows of the Tanager. I like the high placement here, and only wish the small branch URC wasnt leaving the frame.

Lovely image Alan. I like how the colours of the bird are very similar to the perch colours. Well done

Top shelf, Alan. I'm running out of adjectives, but doesn't matter. All would describe this beautiful bird and image. Love the IQ, detail, and perch with perfect shade of yellow lichen. Very nice green BG.

    What a beautiful bird.
i really like the composition and the perch. I like the soft light.
    Good solid comp.
I agree with Bill about the branch that leaves the frame. Wouldn't take much to "prune" it back to the lichen.
Perhaps this bird is a ventriloquist??! Did not know that they can sing like that with the mouth barely open.

Lovely image Great colour, I like the moss on the perch really adds interest to the image, the BG is also a ripper.
