    Hi Sharon, good look back pose, and great that the tail isclear of the lower part of the perch. I like the feather detail on the bird, and does stand out against the BG. I would maybe blend in some of the lighter 'circles' in the BG, and there is a hint of a faint brown 'halo' running along the top of the perch.

    That's a neat pose you were able to capture. The head turn lends itself nicely to the crop that you chose, and the green compliments the browns very nicely. Good separation between the tail and the perch too!

    The perch is a bit bright in some areas, and I noticed the halo that Stuart mentioned. I'd also take a look at adding some sharpening to the head alone.
