    was what i thought when i looked at this guy on South Georgia Island .It must normally hurt like **** , from my human POV . But he was so busy defending his females i think he did not realized it , again from my human POV.

    Hi Andreas - It certainly looks painful and a little gross. Definitely more a natural history image than a frame it and hang it one. Tones, detail, textures and comp all work though.

    Dear Andreas,

    Great portrait of this survivor - despite his terrible wounds I think he will be around for some time - what scars on his body, and the hanging flesh! Very powerful image, well processed and the detail is stunning. You could put together a book with all those images we have seen so far, great work Andreas!!!
