    Default Preening Baya Weaver.

    Image was created in the mid August,2014.
    Evening light. Basic editing, lighten the iris and darken the pupil. cropped for composition and sharpened.NR applied to BG.

    ISO 400, 1/800,@ 5.6.Manual. 550D,100-400.

    Friends, After posting and looking at image having dark BG with dark area in ULC and RLC I thought, I should frame the image.So here it is.

    Hi Satish, great preening pose with the outstretched wing, and just love those yellows of the head. I do like the thinner perch, and all against that smooth BG. I prefer your OP with regards to presentation. Not too keen on the yellow frame.

    Satish,

    Wonderful preening pose captured. I agree, the OP is a bit better, but if you did want a border I would consider a very thin neutral color (maybe white?). Otherwise, the OP was just fine!

    With the head position, I wonder what more room below and less on top would look like.

    Excellent shot! The preening pose you captured is wonderful! I really like the details, light and BG. The OP is better IMO.
