This is the daughter of the Leopard feeding I posted last week, this was the last time I saw mom and daughter together before the mom had her new litter.
It looked like this youngster had killed a Bushbuck, treed it and mom had claimed it. This young female was watching mom and a Hyena at the time of this shot.

    Thanks for looking

Hi Dumay - Beautiful, clean portrait with excellent detail, comp and creamy bg. I like the way it shows her shoulder blades. Maybe just a bit too much sharpening on the face and whiskers.

    Rachel

Super image Dumay. Love the crispness of the image, the light in her eyes and the pastel background. You have captured her curiosity really well. Thanks for sharing!

Hi Dumay, excellent portrait with good sharpness. Not sure what time of day, may be a tad more contrat may help. To me there is a little bit more dead space in front, but i understand why you leave it this way for the pose. TFS. Loi

This is a beautiful, sharp photograph that to my eye is perfectly processed. Me thinks that at times, both here in the Wildlife Forum and in this post as well, that well-meaning folks are simply looking too hard and possibly imagining technical details that are not up to some standard of perfection....

Folks might wish to take a step back from their microscopes and enjoy the images as presented :). Or not.

Dumay - catching up on some posts after returning from Mana...
Missed this, but glad I could see it now. Sharp, clear, beautiful. Top notch leopard pic.
