Theme: rainbow and raindrops
The new theme is WATER. I applied a layer of pixel bender, oil paint to the base layer of a section of rainbow. Over that I used a raindrops texture (can't remember from where), soft overlay and reduced opacity. A final layer of fractalius to add some definition to the raindrops.
Great idea, Nancy. The raindrops look very realistic, and I really like the vivid colors of the rainbow.
Interesting! The "raindrops" stand out quite nicely against the backdrop. I also like how the pattern breaks up the background, giving the impression of a rainbow and thunder cloud viewed through glass.

Wonderful interpretation of the theme. Creative and fun. I love the colors of the rainbow. The water drops look very real, and as if water is running downward. I'd crop from the right to balance out the colors.
You had a great idea and executed it very well. The superposition of the raindrops and rainbow works very well.
