Cross-processed and the cobblestones were from a shot in Versailles. Used analog Efex to bloat the flower and then used angled strokes and then dissolve, which left a trace of the petals. The flower was originally a purple-red cosmos. The circles are bokeh from the light in the BG.

It's way off my level of interest and expertize, but this one really caught my eye ... I like it. It has that impressionist feel, which I'm sure was intentional, but I have to say it definitely worked. Well done

Very creative and well done! Love the vibrant red flower and the wild abandon look to the application of the red to the petals - way outside the lines & with variations of intensity. The bkgd diagonal lines matching those of the petals with bits of cobblestone shapes and circles further adds to the free-spirited feel, as well as the unexpected splotches of pink. The dissolve effect added a great contrast with its water color-like softness & blending. Definitely full of intensity and interest!

    Jackie,

Greetings. The color in the bokeh mirroring the color of the petals, and the tiling pattern make for an engaging image. Thanks for posting.

    Cheers,

Really cool, that shade of green really makes the flower stand out. I like how the background takes on the look of etched glass, with the flower appearing to have been painted in. The diagonals break p the random spray of the petals, adding tension to the scene. Very creative.

Late to the show and it looks like everything has been said but I love the diagonals and background texture. Nice work, Jackie
