I captured this Limpkin grooming on a early morning in July at Circle B Bar Reserve in Polk County, Florida. It was perched on a small Bald Cypress just slightly above my head. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

    Joe:

Agree about the excellent pose, and the slight side lighting gives a nice sense of form to the bird.

I could envision several cropping options because of his pose. A vertical could work, as well as just moving him further to the left as a horizontal. Nothing wrong with the current version, just some options available.

    Cheers

Beautiful image. Fine pose and detail. Might just darken it a touch as I find it a bit too bright.

Excellent preening pose, and that is a neat tree it is perched on. Sharp as posted. Yes to a bit bright on my monitor too, and I would have pointed the lens a tad more towards the right to place the subject more to the left. Good stuff though, I always enjoy Limpkin images.
