    Avian Little Grebe

    5DIII, 600II, TC1.4III, tripod on raft + hide, f/5.6, 1/320s, ISO800.
    Total size of photo: 2770 x 1816 pixels.
    Light: natural. It was dark & late afternoon few minutes before rain.
    Location: The pond on The Island of Krk, Croatia, August 2014.
    PP: NR of BG and vibrance & saturation of bird only.


    I like unusual techno background & reflection.

    A very clean image and I like the low angle. the details in the grebe are super, regards composition I would (if possible) make the grebe a little less close to the left hand side..

    Image quality is beautiful. Wonderful detail and water beads on Grebe. Nice rich colors and grey reflected overcast. Well done.

    The grebe looks great with awesome details. I really like the water beads. Good low angle and neat reflection. I find the large oof band just behind the face (with its solid line above the head) a bit distracting to the flow of the image IMO. Overall very nice though, a peaceful image.

    Maybe a bit off the top? If you aren't opposed, take a look at removing the highlights in the reflections under the head and behind the neck.

    I like both crops and the bird is sharp and loverly. A pure green grey BKGR would have been ideal. For me, the face could be opened up just a bit. All is all well done.
