Hi and hello .
Photographed this King Penguin on South Georgia Island on the beach of Salisbury Plain a breeding place for them .
This single penguin walked a bit separated from others along the beach so i could isolate him. Conditions have been very poor with a mixture of snow and rain .
Hope you like it .

Hi Andreas, nice to see something different. Love the conditions and those vibrant colours really 'ping' from the almost monochromatic environment. just wished you could have seen the feet.
Thanks Keith and Steve for your feedback , appreciate that .
Yes in a really nice world or a more clever photographer would have taken the image with the feet , but.............. none of the two has been in place .
What a pleasing/fun pose you have here. The conditions really add to the shot, and I love those outstretched wings. Your bird pops against the rather gloomy BG. While I would have preferred to see feet, nature tends to get in the way at times. I like this!!
Nice looking pose and I like the cold snowy conditions. Good looking detail considering the conditions and that splash of yellow and red look great against the monochrome look. Well done

Well done in the harsh weather. You might with to eliminate the the three white splotches by the right wing if that fits with your personal ethics.
