Super light and framing here Ben. Nice to see a different drinking posture although not uncommon. Was this a biggish crop? TFS

Thanks for the comment. Crop about 10%, removed a sliver of dirt at the bottom to keep fore ground only as water. Ben

Hi Ben - beautiful morning light. It's not always easy to isolate a single animal at an Etosha waterhole. Interesting pose with it on bent foreleg to drink. Good sharpness too. I wonder about taking a little off the top to more of a pano with an all grass bg rather than the dirt at the top.
TFS,
Rachel

Very nice pose in amazing light. Nice clarity...did you do noise reduction on the Oryx? it just seems to be lacking fine detail. I would also crop some off the top and add more at the bottom if you have it. I like this one!

Thanks for the comments. I do have shot with less background. I also noticed the detail that is less on the rump but not on the hind leg. ? The 40D IQ not coping with the fine hair detail.

Hi Ben - the rp looks better to me in terms of both comp and detail. It also is a bit warmer/redder. I would drop the reds a bit in a hue/saturation layer.

Nice posture and light Ben. IQ issues noted, but the RP looks better to me.
I know this waterhole is curving around where the Gemmie is drinking, but would still rotate this one slightly CCW?

Thanks, the water edge varies in height and curves in to the right. Thanks for the comments and suggestions. Ben

Hi ben...I am with Andreas, I prefer the crop, colours and the PP work from the OP and the detail in the fur from the repost.
