Will play catch up on the previous images later, just hammered on time at present.

This is a side view of Rachel's 'head on' Rhino. Just went tighter as I liked the texture & again, the soft light of this magnificent animal.
BTW Andreas, I have no idea why the grass goes from a golden colour to a grey towards the RHS, unless in shadow?

Hi Steve , thanks for thinking before hand about my eventual concerns .Good to see that you not forget about me .

Very nice profile portrait , with loads of detail and very nice tones . Just the right amount of space all around .Love your sharpening as presented.

Looking at the sun angle , i would expect warmer colors in the image , maybe that is the reason why your grass is looking cool grey and not warm grey .As colors are so subjective , i did some LAB examinations with the permission you gave me some days ago . One curve adjustment targeting the branches in the BKG as reference and the blueish character is gone, but you can do it yourself , i think.

Very nice one , superb processed . TFS Andreas

LOL Andreas, yes I do occasionally think ahead, BTW the sharpening now requires NO masks (all in the LR) and I have NO issues with RP's providing it moves it up a gear.

Yep, blue can go, no problem and yes I took it to the direction of cooler as I was more interested it getting the tonal detail & texture, plus getting to 50 mid grey actually took it colour.

No Problem yours , but where was your reference point for 50 mid grey ? the grey parts i checked with the eye dropper are just slightly on the blue side !

Looks good Steve, although I tend not to use an eye dropper on the 15th pixel from the left :p When need be I am liking the Select Focus Area tool in PS CC, takes the time out of masks.... don't tell Mr A.... ;)

Hi Steve - great detail and texture as you say. I love that we can see the eye so clearly. I'm not sold on the square crop. It feels a little tight to me but personal preference. I can see the blues coming through without an eyedropper, particularly behind the ear.

    TFS,
    Rachel

LOL Neil ,you will get for sure the wrong color reading from the 15th on left , you have to go to the right and take the 16th .No wonder that you use the messy new selection tool within PS CC , it is for the beginners .

Nice profile here Steve. Lovely details and framing - could work in mono too (rhinos usually do)?
I do think the "grey" can be a bit "warmer", though I did not drop an eye on 1-5

Super detail and texture. I also feel it could be a bit warmer...Looking at this species of grass which I know very well they are definitely warmer and more golden (Unless you shot this rhino in the shade) Monochrome might work really well.
