    It's all about the light Karl and this one looks great because of it. Exposure and details are killer and the profile pose really kept every part of it in focus. Might be a little work but I might contemplate removing the white branch in the BG going through the tail. Well done.

    Agree with the critique from David. I wish there was just a bit more tonal separation from the perch, but they just don't land where we want them to all the time!

    Love these ubiquitous little guys. You've caught this one in some nice light and a good pose. Some good comments above, and I could imagine just a little more room top and right. Nice image.

    Hi Karl, just love the soft light in this, sharp showing lots of detail, and if this were mine, I would maybe take a bit off the bottom.

    I tried to comply with most of the advices; took some off of the bottom and top and removed the white OOF branch.
