    Bottle gentian: flowers with some character and a different kind of beauty. I love these guys.
    22 stacked photos taken in a lightbox with a green background and remote flash. Photos taken with the help of Heiicon Remote, stacked with Helicon Focus. I know it is a lot of photos, but it was a long dstance from tip to tip of the leaves.

    Hi Ron, looks like your focus stacking worked very well. Nice sharpness throughout and I like the color tones of the plant. Very minor nit would be toning the background in URC. Nice image.

    What a wonderful stack!! And a beautiful plant well arranged.

    I don't think I'm claustrophobic, but it feels tight top and sides. Would be possible to manufacture canvas if you don't have it.

    The high key treatment works well with the delicate subject, but I wonder how just a little more depth inthe mid-tones would compare?

    It looks great and I am sure there are lots of possibilities to explore with curves etc, I think it could prove tricky deciding which version looks best.
