    Default Two Swallows

    Nikon D7000, HH, 420mm, nikon 300mm f/4 w extender, 1/800sec, f/7.1, ISO 400, no fill flash, left it at home :(
    Cropped about 30% from original. I was in the trees and shrubbery to get
    this angle as the sun light and position of birds was not in my favor.

    Nice capture of the pair Dave! Great details in the faces of the two swallows! Flash would definitely help in that case.

    The composition works well as does the perch and BG. You have a lot of details here in the feathers here but the light isn't working too well in your favor, as mentioned. I think if you selectively dodged the birds it would improve your image.
