This relaxed was moving and feeding along the roads in .......... , obviously where !!!!! at least for those who have been there.

Taken in afternoon around 4 pm , so light was still harsh even at winter time.

Solid comp and light here, from "this place" - amazing how they love to eat dry branches and thorns
Colours are a good representation of the place and this looks like an old warrior. A pity their eyes are so hard to bring out...

Hi Andreas - Nice scene from the location that will not be named with typical colors. The comp works really well and the harsh light is well handled. Good pov too. It looks like he is smiling .

I like the space and the colors look great...Amazing to watch and listen to them feed, the crunching is so loud...I love watching them feed.

    Hi Andreas,

I too like the space (and wish I had a 70-200), great capture of this majestic rhino within its environment and I love the comp/framing here. Beautifully processed and great detail, stunning image

    Kind regards,

Lovely image and great processing, especially given the harsh light and white surroundings typical of this location. I am not 100% sure, but I think this is the same fella I photographed two years in a row (2013, 2013) - he too had a shredded / injured right ear and many facial scars - my wife nicknamed him "Barney" (I have no idea why though - LOL). Looking forward to heading back to this location next August to see if we can see him again

Hi Andreas, agree with Morkel, solid composition and I love the warm tones of colour, nice angle too. Think we saw this guy in some of your early postings, nice to see more.

Yep, it's the same rhino. Same area and I also compared it with an image I have from last year. Awesome! We saw him almost every day we were in the area. How recently did you see him / capture the image?
