Image taken at Selinda camp, Botswana. We saw a large herd of elephants moving along the water spillway near the camp and our guide correctly anticipated their path and positioned our two tiny boats in a little cove waiting for the herd. The reed was so high that we initially could barely saw the top of the biggest elephants, but they ate their way to the little waterway. The light was harsh and I wasn't happy with any of the color images, so decided to do a B&W version here. Appreciate your comments.

Hi Loi - Looks like it was worth the wait. Great low pov with excellent details and sharpness. I like the reeds as the habitat. It still feels a bit bright so if it were mine I would tame the highlights with a luminosity mask and also try to bring out more detail in the sky with some LCE. Is this ff? I might like a bit more room below for the virtual legs.
Nice interaction and POV. Shame the third elephant is not showing any eyes. Would be tempted to darken and add a touch more contrast, similar to Rachel.
Nice moment, Loi.
I agree that it looks a tad too light (for my tastes). I'd focus on bringing more out of the clouds...in this RP I did it crudely and sloppily working from your jpg - but you should get the idea...
Hi Loi, glad you took the trip, worth doing both for the experience and the images obtained. Morkel has taken it to where it needed to go, agree on the above comments too. Just watch that sharpening halo on the right ear.
Selinda is a great place, pleased you got the images.
It must have been a rewarding trip with lots of wonderful sightings, this is certainly one of them and I quite enjoyed your B/W, calls for a print. I would personally like to see a version somewhere in-between yours and Morkel's. Lovely scene and nice POV, well framed and I quite like that dramatic sky in Morkel's RP.
