    Default Owl feeding

This is another frame I got in SoCal while visiting Dave Salem's owls. Adult burrowing owl (right) is feeding a juvenile (left). They close their eyes during feeding to avoid any injuries.

This is really nice. I love the behavior you have captured and the adults' visible eye. The skinny little legs area smile maker!
terrific light, BG and color palette.
What are the blurry brown ares on the rock to the left of the adult. They aren't a problem, I am just wondering what it is,

This is great Arash. I love shots showing animal behaviour. As usual techs are spot on and details are top class

Beautiful, Arash! Never thought one could see emotions from owls but this surely challenges that idea! Sharp, nice BG - well done!

Hi Arash, great light and good feeding posture, I very much like the upright wing posture. You will get hooked and at times, obsessed with this subject, they are real characters and you help to bring this out in your image, nice one.

Wonderful moment captured. Beautiful light and excellent detail/colors. I've yet to see these owls, but hopefully one day. :)

Beautiful frame of this feeding transfer Arash. I really like the closed eyes and the killer detail. That warm evening light adds a beautiful glow to these guys.
Not to jump the gun on the questions asked about the rock but I had to mention that this rock if full of whitewash. We were shooting mostly in the mornings allot so my buddy Glenn and I brought a 5 gallon bucket full of water and a wire brush to the field and spent a few minutes cleaning the rock, but we forgot to do the evening side :( There is hardly a spot on that side of the rock that isnt covered in whitewash so cloning it away is a nightmare.
