Okay, not wild about the last one. That's okay. Just let me get this out of my system. ;-) Oddly, I kinda like the yellow... More fun with IR filter in Nik Color Efex.
Thanks for looking.
Cheers,

Yup, I admit it...the yellow is a little too garish looking for me! But thank you for the information about the infrared filter in Nik CEP. I hadn't noticed that filter before. Last night I tried processing about three images using it: I think I got nice results, but I couldn't figure out what made them infrared. Maybe I'll try posting one and see what everyone thinks....
Being semi-addicted to Meyer lemons, I love the yellow! I love this one -- for the rest of the picture, as well!
I really like the position of the birds in this image. I wonder what would happen if you increased contrast.
Wendy, Diane, Anita,
Thanks much for the comments. Some more contrast works good to my eye, Anita.

I like it as presented other than the one bird that is merging with the rock. I might darken the forewing a bit. Nice work Michael.
The yellow is a bit much for my eye, but the issue I see with this image is the number of birds flying in random directions. The pelican really wants to be the focal point of the image and I would evict the others.

Hi, Michael, I like this one better than the first one you posted. I agree with Kerry about the direction of the birds flying - I would at least evict the one flying in the opposite direction under the pelican. And actually I might crop from the bottom of the rocks and crop out the bottom bird. But that might not be what you had in mind![]()
