    Dear Karl,

This is one very pretty bird I get to see for the first time, lovely colours and I particularly like the pose of the subject!

IQ is quite good for 1/500s and the sharpness is there, if this lovely image was mine I would do some NR to the BG and clone out the vegetation on the LHS corner. Reducing to F5.6 or F6.3 would have increased your SS, not sure of the conditions at the time you shot this but I am considering the fact that there is usually some slight movement from either wind or bird balancing on a thin perch?

    Enjoyed viewing, very much

    Kind regards,
    Gabriela Plesea

Nice looking bird and a good looking profile pose on this one Karl. I think the OOF leaves and the branch dont add to the image. Some NR on the BG to smooth things out will look great.. Well done

Hi Karl, I like the side profile and soft, subtle colours. I also agree on loosing the leave LHS and the two sticks protruding above the leave & a tad of NR, just makes for a cleaner image I feel.
