    Default Theme: Amongst the Birches

    Hi all! Sorry I haven't posted any images for so long. I've been working two part-time jobs this year, so it's hard enough just finding time to take and process photos, let alone post them. I did want to post a couple images for this theme though because I love infrared photos.

    This was a bunch of birch trees that I photographed last fall. I used Silver Efex Pro to make into a fake infrared.

    Very pretty Christopher. I was wondering where you have been. I like the vertical of the trees with the horizontal of the leaves. I might go even brighter on the leaves if you have room to push them to the right.

    Christopher,

    Greetings. Good to see a post from you. I like the white pattern of the leaves against the dark knots of the trunks. Wish the central trunk continued the pattern. Thanks for posting.

    Very nice! I think this one could be fun to play with some added Structure (or maybe Clarity). Those can mimic the grainy effect of IR film, too.

    (Remember when we used to embrace grain???)
